Contact Alpharetta Craftsman Concrete

Alpharetta Craftsman Concrete pours residential driveways, patios, walkways and slabs, along with stamped and decorative surfaces and smaller commercial projects. The median home here was built in 1996, so many properties still have the concrete that went in with the house. After that long, some of it has cracked, settled or lifted at the edges. Some of it can be repaired. Some of it needs to come out. We look at what you have, tell you which it is, and show you what we are seeing so the decision makes sense to you.

Every job starts with the ground under it. The terrain around here is hilly, and it changes from one block to the next, so we grade and test each site on its own before any forms go down. The dominant soil is Rion, which drains well, but that varies too, and we check rather than assume. With about 50 inches of rain a year, where the water goes matters as much as the concrete. We plan the slope, the base and the reinforcement around that, and we handle the permit when the project needs one.

Getting in Touch

The quickest way to reach us is a phone call, though a written message works just as well. Tell us what you have in mind: a new driveway, a patio off the back of the house, a cracked slab you want replaced, or a stamped or decorative surface. A few details help us come prepared. Roughly how big is the area? Is there old concrete to tear out? Does the ground slope toward the house or away from it? Photos are welcome too, since a picture of the existing surface often says more than a description.

Every estimate starts on site. We walk the property, measure, and look at how water moves across it, because the ground in Fulton County rises and falls a good deal and no two lots drain the same way. We test the soil where the work will go rather than assume it. From there we talk through slab thickness, reinforcement, finish and truck access, and the estimate spells each of those out. If the project needs a permit, we handle the permit. Nothing gets poured until you have read it through and asked every question you have.
